Coaching sessions

I’ve always been interested in sharing my knowledge and helping other photographers develop and refine their craftsmanship. I now offer coaching sessions to do just that. During these sessions we can refine your signature style, compile a portfolio from your work, discuss and solve technical difficulties or hone in on a specific project you’ve been working on.

My own work starts with the ability to see the possibilities a space or setting has to offer. Although the potential is often endless and will be different for every photographer, I feel it’s like a code you have to crack. The moment you crack it is the moment every aspect involved -light, composition, space, intuition, thoughts, story, etc.- comes together.

An important subject that is often neglected in art education is how to run your own business as a photographer. Although not the main focus, it is undeniably an important part of my day-to-day practice. I’ve been a full-time photographer with my own business for 8 years now and can teach you everything I have learned from my experiences.

We will meet for a 3-hour coaching session three times. In preparation for our first meeting I’ll give you an assignment, so we can hit the ground running. With your photographs as the foundation we’ll talk about your work and ambitions, and we will set concrete goals. With your set of goals I will guide you, share my knowledge, give you assignments and give feedback. There is no set program, everything we do is focussed on your needs to achieve your specific goals.
